Robert Shine (he/him) is Executive Director of the Pax Christi International Fund for Peace.

Bob has a long history with Pax Christi, beginning in high school and continuing through a university chapter, Pax Christi Metro DC-Baltimore, and the Pax Christi USA National Council, where he served for two years as chair. He co-founded the now-thriving Pax Christi USA Young Adult Caucus to form a new generation of diverse, well-formed, and Catholic movement leaders. In 2017, he co-authored Pax Christi USA’s Advent reflection booklet, The Work of God’s Hands.

Previously, Bob served on New Ways Ministry’s staff for twelve years, including as Associate Director from 2017-2024. He is co-author of A Home for All: A Catholic Call for LGBTQ Non-Discrimination, and has been published in both Catholic and secular media outlets. He has degrees in theology from The Catholic University of America and the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry.
